Busy boats break rods!  The versatile, patent-pending DDS-1 keeps your rods up and away from the chaos of the boat floor, tubes, and passenger areas.  It frees up space on the boat, keeps them off the banks, out of the bushes, and doesn't interfere with loading or unloading the raft.  Kids, dogs, family, and friends can now move freely about the vessel without stepping on or breaking rods. Add-on accessories, keep gear organized and right where you need it, instead of locked away in a bag, dry box, or rolling around on the floor.

Silicone grips support the rods in a grippy embrace.  If you need more peace of mind running a class 4, rotate the capture mechanism to ensure the rods will never leave their cozy home.

The butt of your rod drops into the bottom seat and locks it into place.  The standard aluminum seat accommodates 99% of one-handed rods with either the pass-through butt seat or the larger cup to support oversized "fighting butts."  Add the patent-pending spey sling to take care of those spey rods and a wider variety of spinning rods.

Never has a system been engineered to this extent; our patent-pending designs are here to keep protect your rods and keep you fishing.

Comes with all accessories except the spey sling!

Note:  Includes 1-5/8" frame mount for NRS and similar frames.

amazing

I'd been looking for a rod holder for a while, and glad I settled on this one.
I just got back from 7 days on the middle fork salmon. Group of 11, but I was solo in my boat.

It totally revolutionized my fishing on whitewater trips. I was able to bring a real rod this time, no tenkara. Able to hang all the essentials on the revolver. You can whip out your rod in seconds and start casting immediately. I ran pistol first, greased the slot, set safety in the pool below, and started fishing. Hooked one on the second cast and caught two more by the time my group made it through. I knew if something happened and I had to do my safety duties, it would take no time at all to put the rod away on the revolver. No diddling around with a tenkara or repeatedly assembling/disassembling my rod.

I especially like how the revolver holds your rods vertically, keeping them out of the way. I have no complaints whatsoever. The only downside of the revolver is that your rod won't survive a flip compared to the rod holders that mount along the tube. But I'm also not bringing expensive rods on a whitewater trip. If I was worried about a flip, I'd also disassemble my rods and shift the revolver to a more horizontal orientation which you can easily do with the revolver.

The Best Rod Holder and Organizers On The Market For Boat

This set up is awesome for protecting rod tips in the raft. Sturdy enough to attach an umbrella too. I like to have three rod sets up for sleighing monsters, a set up for quantity catches and also a set with the secret weapon. The revolver allows me to keep it all organized. Awesome product.

Essential item for keeping rods safe and secure!!!

Wether I am on a guys fishing trip or a family raft trip, the Revolver Rod Rack has been a critical item for keeping my rods organized in my raft. I struggled for so many years of breaking rods, snagging a rod on riverside brush, rods bouncing around in the raft in whitewater, until finally discovering the Rod Rack. It's a very well thought out design, super simple to install and use, and after owning for over a year, seems very robust. It feels like an essential item in my raft now, I absolutely love it !!
